Christianity in India

Christianity is third largest religion at approximately 24 millions of followers constituting 2.35%of population.
Christianity arrived India with the coming of Thomas the apostle during the 1st century.the second spurt in the growth of Christianity came during the colonization of India which started after the discovery of sea route to India by vasco De gama the Portuguese explorer in 1498.

In the constitution preamble of India it was proclaimedthsat India is secular state. and the constitution ofIndia offers more provisions to its citizes about religious freedom in article 25.
IS scheduld caste people in India denied the religious freedom by the government ? yes, 62 years f independence India discriminating scheduld caste people to not adopt christianity. there was no religious freedom to SCs.
If any SC ndividual adopts christianity he was recognised as a backward class one. how it possible. can any body changes his caste by adopting other religion? is caste in india is determined by caste or religion? in some caste certificates issued by tahasildars they mentioning SC Christian as Christian caste! how it is possible.?
Caste is vested to a person by his birth. and religion is by his individual practice.If our government wants to devolop our nation with a penline It has to do it in minutes of time by issuing bc-c certificates.

minstry and generations

In 1960s In Indian evangelism is mostly depends on Faith and prayer. proclaimation of Gospel is like any thing in their lives.for example many of the dedicated evangelists and pastors are committed their lives to the service of God. they does not want any provisions related to family. their most objective is to proclaim The Gospel and win the perishing souls to the kingdom of God only.
coming into the 1980s a considerable number of missioners that came to India for conducting Christian convention, healing prayers, and other huge programmers. believers also used to attend to those meetings and spends their time in prayers. This convention some times lasts for four days also. Native pastors sponsored by those foreign missioners and blessed by them. they often starts organizations for religious and social welfare. like children homes , orphanages , widow homes , old age homes etc . The beneficiaries are the members of the church only. the fruits of the church enjoys real needy.
To day the system of christan church became disintegrated. the second generation of the so called pastors and evangelists are enjoying the fruits of their fathers ministry. for example I know a pastor who committed his life to Jesus and spend his all time in the minisry of God. and he won the real soules!with his prayers and his life style in christianity he made so many people to accept Jesus as their savoour. In this journey he faced so many struggles like beaten up by non christians several times and even set afire his family also. T last by the Grace of God was able to build a church at that place where the people planned to kill him!
NOw his son entered in to the field in the weakness of his father. by his english knowledge he communicated all the subjects to other persons as the things happened to himself. the strangers believed all things told by his son and they ready to sponsor to his son only .got the financial benefit on the name of his so he brought many lands and acquiring assets by his name thease things not known to his father.

Bible

I started look my friend , so many times we have a discussion about all thease things but all times you simply rejected me. But this time you are telling me that Jesus is the great man, and you want to reach him by some books written by some one . why don’t you go for Holy bible which was written by the inspiration of holy ghost and the life and direct preachings of Jesus Christ? He thought a moment, because I offered him once the Bible and he rejected to be the bible in his house.
He said Sir , I would like to have one Bible to read the preachings of Jesus!I praise Lord for this . To day iam bringing a bible to present him and to teach gospel to him.

Gospel!

Yesterday my colleague came to me. He is looking like very anxious, by knowing some thing new, which he came to hear never.infact he known to me nearly five years. He feels him self-that he is learned person. By the way I observed that he has an intension about religion. He is a traditional practice of Hinduism! His house was full of idols of many goddess and photos. Some times we had a conversation about religious practices. in that discussions he bluntly opined that Christianity damaging the people of Indians and its culture. Many times I tried to teach the life of Jesus, repentance baptism. But he rejected to here this gospel. Iam doing only prayer for him
Yesterday he came to me with a brochure of pyramid spiritual society. And he began to tell me about the meditation and how Jesus has attained the peak stage in meditation . I
I just feel happy. I heard all the matter what he told He is very interestingly telling that he wants to be Like Jesus in meditation and he want to attain the stage what Jesus shows while he had been crucified His intension is to separate the soul from the body.

What way you have chosen to achieve your goal? I asked . He showed me some literature discussing about Buddha and some other Indian religious people written by some other man. I pity on him and again I asked him is the literature enough to attain the stage? No answer from him.
